Summer Season Farewell

This month Our Chalet farewells our team of Summer Volunteers. They have all contributed a huge number of services hours to another successful Summer Youth Event season at the first WAGGGS World Centre.

The team celebrated with a Staff Day Out to nearby Kandersteg Valley; a hike or gondola trip up to Oeschinensee, swimming and paddling rowing boats on the lake, summer tobogganing, a tour of Kandersteg International Scout Centre (KISC) and a barbeque dinner.

Many thanks for your impressive efforts throughout the very busy season, and we hope you will continue to share international friendship and the Guiding and Scouting spirit in your home countries.
